Razorlight est un groupe anglais formé à Londres en 2002 par Johnny Borrell (chant), Björn Agren (guitare), Carl Dalemo (basse) et Christian Pancorvo (batteur; il sera remplacé dès le premier album par Andy Burrows). Après quelques répétitions, le groupe se lance en concert et séduit immédiatement un petit label qui leur permet d'entrer en studio pour enregistrer une maquette. Le son brut et rock très british de Razorlight fait immédiatement des ravages dans le public qui s'échange des copies de cette maquette. Cet engouement remonte jusqu'au oreilles d'une grande maison de disques qui ajoute Razorlight à son catalogue début 2004. La même année, sort le premier album du groupe : "Up All Night". En douze titres le groupe se fait sa place dans le paysage musical Anglais et parvient à se hisser dans le top trois des ventes d'albums. En 2006, Razorlight revient avec un album éponyme moins spontané que le premier mais malgré tout très bon et toujours aussi rock.
